Kiwanis Club of Kingston Boys Summer Camp
Title
Kiwanis Club of Kingston Boys Summer Camp
Description
"Summer Camp: The Kiwanis Club of Kingston's first ever Boys Summer Camp was held recently at Twickenham Park courtesy of the Ministries of Agriculture and Education. For one week, twenty boys lived, worked and played together under the supervision and leadership of Messrs. Lawson Francis and Keith Goldson, both Kiwanis Club of Kingston members who were resident Camp commandants. The boys, between the ages of 14 and 17 years, were drawn from such Corporate Area schools as Vauxhall Junior Secondary, Haile Selassie Junior Secondary, Trench Town Comprehensive, Convent Garden All-age, and Kingston College. This end of camp photo shows the boys along with some of the Kiwanis Club of Kingston leaders seated, left to right: Club Director Karl McDonnough, Club member Keith Goldson, Club President-designate Robert Bridge, Club President Milton Weller, Club Committee Chairman "Sonny" Woolward and Club member Lawson Francis."
