German television team visit Jamaica

The television team have been filming material for a 25 minute documentary film on Jamaica scheduled to be shown on the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation network in August, and later for nation-wide viewing. Before coming to Kingston, the team filmed in and around Negril, the Montego Bay area including the S.O.S. Village, a day on the Governor's Coach, an interview with Heinz Simonitch, President, Jamaica Hotel & Tourist Association and Managing Director, Half Moon Hotel, Montego Bay; visited Kaiser Bauxite plant at Discovery Bay, Bernard Lodge Sugar Factory. The well-known producer Norbert Bittman was unable to accompany the team but is very much involved with the production of the documentary."
