Title

Traffic jam and vehicular shut off in flood rains in Kingston

Description

"Two of the many Kingston commuters who yesterday afternoon got wet feet as short but torrential rainfall converted the City's roads into river valleys. The showers started in the early afternoon, and within a few minutes several roads particularly in the Cross Roads-New Kingston-Half Way Tree area were flooded. Traffic came to a crawl and sometimes a standstill at places such as the intersection of Holborn Road and Chelsea Avenue."
